Computerdiagnostik: Errungenschaften und Möglichkeiten der Technologie.

Zusammenfassung:

In diesem Beitrag wird der Personal-Computer (PC) als eine dezentrale, persönliche Technologieform dargestellt, die dem Psychodiagnostiker in seinen Bemühungen, akkurate und effiziente Psychodiagnostische Entscheidungen zu treffen, optimal unterstützen kann. Die gegenwärtige Psycholdiagnostische Forschung, bei der PC's Anwendung finden, deuten die Möglichkeit an, daß diese Technologie zu dramatischen Entwicklungen in der psychodiagnoschen Forschung und Praxis beiträgt. Es wird gezeigt, daß eine solche Technologie -- unter Anwendung von kompetenter Psychodiagnostik -- ermöglichen kann, eine kreative, intellektuell herausfordernde und damit im Vergleich zu Jetztzeit bessere Psychodiagnostik zu realisieren.

Summary:

In this paper the Personal-Computer (PC) is portrayed as a decentralized, personalized form of technology which can greatly aid the psychodiagnostician in his efforts to achieve accurate and efficient psychodiagnostic decision-making. Current diagnostic and research developments in psychodiagnosis involving use of the PC (which strongly suggest that the technology is effecting dramatic changes in contemporary psychodiagnostic research and practice), are reviewed. It is shown that with competent application such technology may very well be a prime source of help in the development of more creative, professionally challenging and responsible diagnostic research and practice.
